Space Foundation’s Annual International Student Art Contest Has Max Polyakov’s Support

The current edition of the Space Foundation’s International Student Art Contest is counting on the help of Max Polyakov’s Noosphere Venture Partners LP.

International Student Art Contest

Space Foundation, a recognized space supporter, recently announced its fresh association with Noosphere Venture Partners LP. The partnership rises in support of the yearly International Student Art Contest. The ceremony is going beyond its tenth edition, calling out students from all countries to draw their original artworks and enter for a winning chance. Submitted art might be of any type: paintings, drawings, digital art, a mix, or any other thing that a creative mind can come up with.

The annual International Student Art Contest had its first appearance in 2011. Since then, it has motivated many blossoming minds to go deep into their imagination and abilities to develop art influenced by space and the areas of knowledge involved in its exploration. It is a huge incentive to get more younglings interested in science, mathematics, engineering, and technology (STEM).

How The Contest Works

Annually, some of the kids’ art pieces get selected and shown at Space Foundation’s Discovery Center. The same happens at the yearly Space Symposium in Colorado Springs. The rest of the pieces created by the children and teens get displayed on the Space Foundation’s website, Facebook, Instagram, etc. It is interesting to note that even though many kids from all countries participate every year, most share the same desires for the coming decades.

To have a chance at the contest, students must be between 3 and 18 years old. In the past years, the number of entries surpassed 4,500, comprising several entries from the USA, China, India, UAE, India, and Japan. Other countries had their representatives in the competition as well.

With so many students participating in the event, it would be unfair if only one winner was chosen. Twenty-five winners get elected in each edition. There are eight categories divided by age. Among those, three kids get chosen to receive honors. Out of all honors, one kid will get the Space Foundation Award.

There is no charge of any type to enter the competition. Artwork should get delivered by the child or teen’s parent, teacher, or legal guardian (18 or older).

The Collaboration With Noosphere Venture Partners LP

This year’s edition is getting sponsored by Noosphere Venture Partners LP, one of many projects with which Max Polyakov is involved. Polyakov is currently betting high on technological development and technological education. He has invested in the promotion of high-level education to get more people studying STEM for a long time. Moreover, he was a huge factor in the success of the DREAM program, which has financed the teaching of STEM globally.

Polyakov asserts that the annual event’s goals are in alignment with Noosphere’s objectives. According to him, by motivating young students to pursue knowledge on STEM fields, humankind has a better prospect of fighting climate difficulties as well as any other challenges that might arise.
